1.Styrene-methyl methacrylate copolymer (MS)

Made of 70% styrene and 30% methyl methacrylate copolymer, the copolymer's light transmittance is better than PS, while maintaining good fluidity of PS.

2. Polystyrene (PS)

Together with PMMA and PC, it is called three transparent plastics. Its optical performance is worse than PMMA, but the moisture absorption rate is low, and the weather resistance of PS products is poor. It will turn yellow and turbid after long-term storage and exposure to sunlight.

3. Polycarbonate (PC)

It is a transparent engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive performance, and the optical performance of PC is only lower than that of PMMA. But heat and cold resistance, in the range of -135-120 degrees can maintain stable mechanical properties.

4. Styrene acrylonitrile is often abbreviated as AS and SAN

It contains acrylonitrile monomer with a mass fraction of 20%-30%, and the rest is copolymerized with styrene monomer. The light transmittance of AS is equivalent to that of PS, but the refractive index is slightly lower. The maximum continuous use temperature of AS material is 10 degrees higher than that of PS. The mechanical properties, weather resistance and stress cracking resistance are also improved.

5. Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA)

Commonly known as zhi machine glass, it is the best plastic with optical performance. The mechanical and electrical properties of PMMA are general, the coefficient of thermal expansion is 8-10 times that of inorganic glass, the long-term use temperature is only 80 degrees, and the customized Plastic Cup is high.
